It is with great pleasure that after 12 months of hard work and planning, we are able to announce the St John’s Lutheran School has received its final approval form the relevant authorities to expand to a senior schooling model. This is exciting and it ushers in wonderful new opportunities to reach families in the South Burnett, with our special blend of education with our Christian faith underpinning our community.
We have been approved to expand to Year 10 next year and Then in the following years into Senior Schooling of Year 11 in 2023 and our foundation Seniors will be on campus in 2024. The model proposed is for face-to-face teaching in Year 10 and flexible delivery model in Senior, blending face to face learning and using subject specialists from other Lutheran Schools. This is operating successfully currently and enabling us to use technology to our advantage like many Lutheran Schools in Queensland already.
